Add support for Veeam backup & recovery. This is one of the most widely used backup solutions for virtual environments.

Hi everyone, thank you for taking the time to give us feedback on this idea. We do believe this idea has the potential to turn into an Inspector. We'll be keeping our eyes on this idea for additional upvotes and feedback.
This really is badly needed almost every one of our clients has a Veeam B&R Server.
Hi team
This would be a really strong addition. Any update?
we just accepted a contract and wasnt told Backup and replication was not supported.
Please make this work or we will not continue.
I would love to see this, and agree with all of the comments from the previous people.
I would also like to see an Inspector for Veeam Backup & Replication, as others mentioned it's widely used in the virtualisation space. I was hoping to be able to get Roar to report on Backup Status inside B&R but also to hopefully provide metrics on Backup Repositories usage so that you can report on capacity planning of your backup storage.
I would really like to see this added to Roar. There is only one competing vendor for this (Backups Radar). Email alerts work mostly, but leave a giant hole too. We don't know when a machine doesn't report anything. So a machine dies, that's running Veeam, and we don't know until we check the machine. Ideally, the machine goes down enough to where nothing works, and we naturally find it. But now on three machines, often older windows servers, veeam services have failed, while the machine has survived.
This is a windows agent based inspector, and could absolutely be an "enhanced" inspector. Veeam Agent and Veeam B and R output Windows Event Log events that record Backup Job statuses. You can just monitor and report those, and report when there isn't an event for a day. That would cover 90% of what is needed. You really only need to know when it failed, we don't even need to know much of how it failed, from lionguard.
If we could make custom inspectors, I would be happy to try to build it out for you.
