Currently, there is no defined state for an inspector whose target system has been retired but which we do not wish to delete from Roar or have show up as a "Failed" or "Setup Issue" inspector. One can set an inspector to "Disabled" which prevents further run attempts, but it still shows as an inspector in an error state in Roar.
Consider adding an "archived" state for inspectors that will intentionally never run again but which we want to keep around in a read-only state indefinitely.
This is an idea worth considering and we would appreciate votes to understand the priority of this request and any thoughts on how it should be implemented.
For example: where would you want to see "archived" systems show up in Roar? What would you like to happen to data for that system in the PSA and documentation tools like IT Glue?
Thanks for taking the time to give us your thoughts!
