VMWare ESXi - Increase Timeout Time

User Story: As a <type of user>, I need <some goal>, so that <some reason>. This should always be in the scope of the ticket. Ex. As a Roar User, I'd like to be able to update the status of multiple alerts at once, so I can save time.

Requirements: What needs to happen for the user to be able to accomplish their goal. (Acceptance criteria) Ex. Ability for user to close multiple alerts

Specifications: The most zoomed in section, normally outlining how you’ll accomplish the requirements. Ex. Add new checkbox column to all alert tables (Home Screen & Single Environment Screen)

Partner: The Tech Consultants

What went wrong:

  • VMWare inspector and logs pointing to timeout.

What did you expect to happen:

  • Inspector to land and gracefully account for timeout issues

Steps to Remediate

  • Partner stated they were able to SSH in from the Agent server but they were experiencing a 45-90 second window to authenticate.

  • We are assuming this is the reason for timeout and Partner wants a toggle to adjust the timeout threshold (I understand that would be a feature request)
